The CDC's Job Shadow Program brings Capilano University students together with industry professionals, giving them a front-row seat to real-world careers and allowing students to observe professionals in their work environment. This experience provides valuable insights and advice on career paths, goals, and expectations grounded in real-world experience.
Tentative draft of programming:
10:00 AM Meeting and Introduction Office Tour
10:30 AM Informational Interview of the Office Administrator
11:00 AM Informational interview of the Accountant
11:30 AM Informational Interview of the Manager
12:00 PM Informational Interview of the Tax professional or lunchtime
12:30 PM lunch (student arranges)
1:00 PM job shadowing Accountant
2:30 PM - 4:00 PM job shadowing the Office Administrator
