During this guided office tour, you'll learn what the company does, see the workspace, meet team members, and discover career opportunities for students and new graduates. 

FortisBC offers diverse career pathways across departments-from accounting and finance, marketing, communications, and customer experience to engineering, operations, and project management. During the tour, you'll meet company professionals, learn about current initiatives, and discover how your skills can contribute to meaningful work that powers communities across the province.

You'll also get a chance to meet representatives and CapU alumni from different departments. At each station, an employee will share:

• A quick 5-minute overview of their role

• A "cool thing" they're currently working on

• One piece of career advice

• The top skills their team values

Students will then jot down on sticky notes: "One skill I want to develop." These will be collected on a board at the end, helping spark conversation and networking during the meeting-room session.

One-on-One Resume Feedback with a Recruiter

After that, students can meet briefly with a FortisBC recruiter for personalized resume guidance, including:

• Tips on tailoring their resume for roles at FortisBC

• One key strength the recruiter notices

• Common résumé mistakes to avoid

• Entry-level roles to consider

• Skills to focus on building next
